New Service Installation Tracker

South Jersey Gas wants to keep you up-to-date on the progress of your natural gas service request with our New Service Installation Tracker. This tool helps new customers track the status of their installation, allowing them to check where they are in the process at any time. To access your status, please enter your tracking # (found in your, “Welcome – Track Your New Service Installation” email) and the last four digits of the phone number on your account.

Application Processed

Good news! Your application has been processed. Our Design Team is now working to determine the best path for your installation. You may see a South Jersey Gas representative or one of our partners surveying your property to help complete your design. Unless notified, you will not need to be present for the surveying.

Design Complete

Your service design has been completed and approved. It’s time for South Jersey Gas to apply for the appropriate street opening permits. Depending on your property’s location, we may be applying for state, county and/or municipal permits. Approval timelines will vary by permitting agency.

All permits have been approved for your installation. Our Scheduling Team is arranging the next available installation date for your service. Your Customer Advocate will confirm your installation date.

Great news! Our scheduling team has scheduled your installation for {DATE}. Please be aware that this date is subject to change.

Also, please note- The installation contractor will schedule public markouts. You may see personnel marking your property with flags and/or paint. Don't forget, you are responsible for all private markouts. Please contact your Customer Advocate with any additional questions on private markouts, as they can impact your installation.
